Under the radar MVP

[A Fleshner Fantasy]

On all successful teams, there is at least a player or two who you never really hear about, but who really helps your team. Who has that guy been for you guys? For me I would definitely have to say Scott Baker. 9 wins, 3.57 ERA, 1.20 WHIP (all of this going into his start today). Obviously he's not as valuable to my team as Lincecum or Howard, but he sure has helped and I never hear a thing about him.

Alexei Ramirez and Shane Victorino have really been valuable for me. Especially in last week's matchup to win me HR's on Sunday.

The vaunted Broxton/Morrow/Perez Super-Reliever I had going for a good portion of the 2nd half. I only wish they kept Morrow in his role .


Soria deserves mention as well.

Hiroki Kuroda is probably my MVP on the pitching side, he has kept my ERA down of late.

Victorino has also been clutch of late.

But I can't forget my savior-- Raul Ibanez.

I'm currently in third place and drafted a pretty cruddy offense in one of my leagues, so I'm full of unsung heroes. This leagues uses 5 OF, MI, CI, so they came in handy.
