What do you think the chances are that he ends up starting next season closing games for Baltimore? Sherill has proven that he isn't cut out for the closers role, he is a much better set-up man. Ray was lights out before his surgery (Tommy John?), and has starting pitching already. Should be ready for the 2009 season.

unless something drastic happens, I think Ray is a lock for the closer role next year. I wouldn't be surprised to see sherrill traded in the offseason...
