When does that start? Anyone else surprised they chose Cleveland as the spin-off rather than Quagmire? Cleveland seems like it will be about the same thing as Family Guy and American Dad... They could have gone in a completely different yet equally hilarious direction with Quagmire.

pretty sure i read in Entertainment Weekly that FOX didnt want Seth McFarlane (who voices Peter, Brian, Quagmire, American Dad) doing a 3rd show so they went with Cleveland who someone else voices

he was pretty good as JD in Heathers...and Clarence in True Romance
True Romance is great IMHO. Slater has some good roles but it's easy to forget because he puts out so much crap. There is an indy flick "He Was A Quiet Man" from last year that might be his best.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Yeah True Romance is awesome. I've seen that "He Was A Quiet Man" flick on the shelf at the movie store but haven't checked it out yet...good watch huh?
Depends... It's a little weird so... If you dig flicks like Boxing Helena and American Psycho then yeah you'll probably like it. If not, it's probably still worth watching for Slater since he's pretty great regardless of the rest of the movie.

Amazinz wrote:I thought the first two episodes of Fringe were pretty good. Not as good as LOST but I will stick with it for now. Fringe seems to be geared to reclaim the X-Files fan base.
The X-Files comparison is very apt IMO. I'm on the second episode and it's strikingly similar to the X-Files, except no character is as engaging as Mulder was and the cinematography is distinctly late 2000s. Personally, I liked 90s cinematography better, since every setting or scenery post-2003 has like zero sunlight. Even outdoor scenes are set at nighttime at a disproportionate ratio.
Rocinante2: you know Rocinante2: its easy to dismiss the orioles as a bad team ofanrex: go on Rocinante2: i'm done Rocinante2: lmao
Anyone check out Life on Mars? Pretty good. I will keep watching for now. Michael Imperioli was hilarious in his role.

I simply can't bring myself to watch a show with that premise... I know, it seems weird, in a cutting off my nose to spite my face kind of way, but I just can't do it.
