Adrian Beltre had an MRI on his sore thumb Tuesday and will miss at least a couple of days.

Beltre had dye injected into the area, and that's always going to keep a player out for two or three days. Depending on what is found, Beltre could opt for season-ending surgery. Matt Tuiasosopo would then get a chance to audition at third base.


The guy's been hot lately so I'm not liking this.

He's in the lineup today despite the enormous attention and concern his injury is getting. :-b
