TJ Surgery For Pujols?

Postby Old_Style » Tue Sep 09, 2008 1:39 am

From Rotoworld:
Albert Pujols told KSDK-TV that he's leaning towards undergoing Tommy John surgery.
Cards fans can look at the bright side here: if the team misses the postseason, it'd be a lot easier for Pujols to undergo the surgery and still be ready for next year. If the Cardinals were to play deep into October, Pujols would probably put the procedure off for another year. Sep. 9 - 1:16 am et

Looks like the fantasy baseball world won't be in a massive panic when preparing for the '09 season. :-D

Rob Dibble and Kevin Kennedy were talking about the situation yesterday on MLB Radio on XM and they said that Pujols is considering putting off the surgery until after 2009 because he wants to play in the 2nd WBC and also is hoping to play in the All-Star game which is being held in St. Louis.
