Now the dude is saying Longoria isnt as important because the Rays winning percentage is 59.2 with him in the line-up and 17-10 with him out of the line-up with a 62.9 winning percentage.
Not very convincing but none the less...

I cant find any stats for the white Sox when Alexei is in the line or out of it, anyone help out?

That may be valid if we were talking about tennis, but this is baseball- 9 men on the field. Longoria's job is to create runs, which he has done better than Ramirez.

It's not as if Braun didn't deserve it.

No doubt that Braun was very deserving. Just noting that defense hasn't always been a top priority in the voter's minds.

He is grasping at straws, just like he did with risp. Longoria leads in vorp, ws, runs created, ops+. Show him this thread.

If he doesn't already know about this site then I suggest that you not introduce it to league mates.

It's Longoria. Not even close to the point this thread should be locked.

I'm a White Sox fan with Longoria on my fantasy team...and I think it should be Longoria. Don't get me wrong, Ramirez is an absolutely fantastic player and probably one of the most entertaining guys to watch in the majors right now...but he's been hitting 8th or 9th for a lot of the year. Longoria is way more important to the Rays.
