Marlo Byrd injured thumb

Postby West Coast Fan » Sun Sep 07, 2008 12:39 am

From yahoo,
Sat, Sep 6 OF Marlon Byrd left Friday's game after the top of the first inning due to a sprained left thumb. He injured the thumb diving for a catch. X-rays showed no break, but the lingering problem with thumb injuries is the involvement of the ulnar collateral ligament.

So I'm in the playoffs and what do I do? Byrd was hot in August. But the Rangers are out of it and might sit Byrd just when I need him to produce.
Had to do something, so I dropped him and picked up Jayson Werth. Good move?
