I don't agree with killing someone just because they've been absent. There could be any number of reasons for absence. (Like me flying to NZ halfway through the last game )

I think the mafia is trying to avoid making the last vote so they don't appear suspicious going into Day 5. You, Mookie, Aussie, and now DClark have all had 2 votes on you at some point in Day 4.

I'm not totally convinced you're mafia yet and I'm not about to have 2 townies killed. I think the only thing whacking you would do is guarantee whoever casts the last vote gets to live overnight while having a pall of suspicion cast upon themself. Then it becomes "ken threw the final nail in clark's coffin so he's gotta be mafia" and I am easily lynched on Day 5 and the mafia wins.
