i took 3rd, tied with the dude in 2nd, but lost the tiebreaker, and was only half a game behind the dude in second, which the 1 and two seed get $75 back and a first week bye

I went 45-3 the last three weeks to cover what I believe was a 15 GB deficit into first place.

The league I'm in uses 18 cats so it's kind of weird, but awesome nonetheless.

That's good. That's like, better than '84 Tigers good.

I eked out 2nd place in my league after a steady climb from 6th. I played the 2nd place team on the last week, and was actually down 7-6 coming into yesterday morning, but then Sabathia, MCab, and Giambi pulled me out as well as a little luck. Vlad, Renteria, and Cameron didn't play, and his entire team went 4/25 with 1 HR and 1 RBI. I went up on him 9-2 and me and him wound up tied, 8 games out of first. But I went 161-124-23 and he went 165-128-15, which made me the victor.

In one of my H2HWS leagues, 19.5 games out of first place a month ago. Today, a half-game at the top of the heap.

won by 1 gm, but i actually preferred #2 for playoff matchups but being the regular season #1 earned me an extra $50.

i was eeked out of 2nd place. up 7 3 since thursday, he ties sb's with matt kemps steal on sunday night baseball which changes the .5 of my lead to the .5 of his lead. now gonna have to smoke the poor 6th place team

Me too, and I lost my bye. I won 7-5-0 after being down early in the week but the team behind me even though he had a mediocre week- worse than mine played a team that laid an egg and beat him 11-0-1. I finished a game and a half out of a bye.
