IIIIIII've got some bad news for you....
I think he's going to have a down year.
Well he is hurt, so that would make some sense.
I still have hope, though.
he had a pretty down year last year, unless you were playing roto football. hes probably the streakiest player in football in terms of fantasy, which tends to have me shy away from him.
Meh, I basically drafted him because I liked him. I pretty much consider fantasy football to be mostly luck anyway (yes, I've had bad experiences), so we'll see how it goes. Maybe he'll want to prove all the naysayers wrong?
I love Chad Johnson because he's an entertainer. He might be a nuisance to his team, but his only goal is to have fun. He's lumped in a group of trouble makers that he doesn't belong in... there's a big difference between eccentric and crazy and I think Ocho Cinco is just a fun-lovin' eccentric. I love it.

For the most part, I agree. Chad is a total self-promoter, but he's highly entertaining and that's a big part of what sports are about. And it's not like he doesn't bring his A-game most of the time when he is on the field. The guy quite often backs up his talk by playing hard and racking up strong numbers for the position. Does his act get a bit tired sometimes? Sure it does. But that comes with the territory when you're a vocal person - not everyting you say or do will be popular with the masses.

There's Tank Johnson lunatic and Chad Jo....Ocho Cinco lunatic. Sports are entertainment and as long as it's not mean, negative, or dangerous attention (which would mess with the team), I would welcome a return of showmanship in sports.
I remember a story from a long time ago, Rube Waddell once walked three guys intentionally, then refused to throw another pitch until his outfielders went in and took a seat around the mound, and proceeded to strike the next three guys out. Then there's King Kelly (I think) who was on the bench when an opposing hitter hit a pop-up out of reach for any fielder, so he jumped onto the field and shouted "Kelly, now catching for Boston!" and made the catch. It was legal at the time!
