I think it's crazy that it took so long for that album to become a hit in the US. Maybe it's due to how he toured, I'm not sure, but it's amazing to me when there aren't any limitations anymore to who can hear an album or see a film (other than idiotic artificial limitations imposed by labels and studios, but as far as I can tell that wasn't the case with Gotye) that it can still take almost a year for the US to pick up on something. I'm guilty as well, I had heard great things about the album last year but didn't listen to it until a couple months ago when it started getting buzz over here.

Maybe trying to suggest something about the duality of man? The struggle within.
I did a little research and apparently it is written by Christopher Nolan. He says to stop trying to make sense of it and just enjoy the beats.
Was the previous song so much superior that he expected you to like this one and not challenge any of the plot holes about why there are whores in this house? Like how did they get there? How will they get out? Who else is there? This song answers none of these questions.

1) I have recently been listening to Beach House's new album almost on repeat. If you like that dream pop type of stuff, this is absolutely excellent. no songs as good as Norway from their first album, but the album top to bottom is better.
