I dont have an opinion on Elbert, but kershaw is coming back for his next start.

The call-up will be the first of Elbert's professional career, and it comes without his ever having spent a day in Class AAA. Elbert missed most of last season with a shoulder injury, but he posted a 2.40 ERA at Jacksonville this season, allowing just 22 hits in 41 1/3 innings.
elbert worth a shot in standard leagues? kershaw was looking really good for a while there and hit a rough patch. im sure if it was june or july the dodgers would let him work through his troubles.
He's most likely just going to be an arm in the pen since Kershaw's last start stretched them all out (has only started 1g all year). Though in the future as long as he can stay healthy he could have a Broxton like role and possibly close if he goes elsewhere.
