If the Braves give Furcal (25/27 last season SB) the green light imagine how many bags he will steal.

How about Furcal

100 Runs

15 HR

60 RBI

290 AVG

45 SB

And that my friends is quite a nice SS you have there.

My question is would u still rather have Orlando Cabrera or Furcal. They are both similar, but Cabrera has a bit more power.

are you speculating about him having a green light this year as opposed to last year? or did you read that somewhere, and if so, where please?

I would take Furcal with those numbers, but I am reluctant to believe them

I also read Furcal will have the green light now that Atlanta lost alot of offense. They will need him to get into scoring position so I read he'll have the green light at all times. 40 steals isn't out of the question.

Even if he steals the same amount as last year I would take him before Cabrera.

Skip Furcal, and take Kaz Matsui, or Jose Reyes (both will qualify at SS) and both can be taken later than Furcal, and both should outproduce Furcal..

(IMHO)

IMHO..Kaz and Reyes are going to high in drafts and won't produce what people expect. More value for your dollar in Furcal. ;-D

Furcal is probably going to be much better than Kaz and Reyes. I wouldn't trust Kaz as much as some people are. His HR and SB were very erratic in Japan. I don't know how well he's going to adjust.

I can second the Furcal info on stealing more (50 sb was mentioned somewhere). Furcal has been going at pick 51 in ESPN leagues. Reyes at 77, Matsui at 65. I would take Furcal. In fact, I have Furcal pushing Renteria for the number 3 SS this year.

i agree, go with furcal who is a proven solid pick. kaz, dont get me started about how overrated i think he is, and reyes - give him a year or two to get to furcal.

yeah furcal will have a green light, it just makes sense!!!
