At our high school's games they would play the beginning of "Killing In The Name" by Rage Against The Machine at the end of warmups/during introductions/during play stoppages, and it doesn't have any obscenities until the end (but if it did for some reason get to the end of the song you're pretty much screwed

).
I was gonna suggest Rage as a joke....but I guess not lol. Great band...shame none of my music tastes mesh well with sports. Imagine hearing the dulcet tones of Minor Threat over the introductions.

I wouldn't mind, but it would probably piss off a lot of people.
Has anyone suggested looking through soundtracks of baseball video games? MVP 2004 had one of the best soundtracks from any game not named after Tony Hawk. They usually have some good songs from modern days, not [controversy] tired, old songs that have been mainstream for the better part of 3 decades [/controversy]. The thing about that is that so many people have heard these songs and associated them with hundreds of different things before in the last 20-odd years. But give them a relatively new song from a relatively unknown band, they'll associated with the local baseball team every time they hear it afterwards.
