sabathia's aggregate states aren't as good as lincecum's. That would be a travesty if CC got it. well not a travesty, but it wouldn't be justified when there are people who have outperformed him/performed at his level that have been in the league all season. When you consider that Lincecum is on an atrocious team and is winning at the same clip essentially, I don't see how CC is realistic.

yea, I don't think it would be fair or warranted to give it to CC. ESPN was talking at one point of CC needs to be considered for MVP, which I find ridiculous. I don't like the idea (but don't dismiss it out of hand) of a pitcher being the MVP, but really.

Less innings because Harden only goes 5-6 usually..while CC is pitching a CG every other start..CC has been better in my book.

Exactly. I'll take CC's 2 runs over 9 innings than Hardens 1 run over 5 or 6 innings any day.

CC will have 5 more starts. If he wins 4 of them that gives him 13 Wins in 16 starts. With the CGs and SHOs I would give him the CY if he had 13 wins.

But for now I say Lince over Webb.
