What do you guys think of his chances on being the closer next year for the Angels? I am assuming that KRod won't resign but will leave for the other coast. I have him in a Deep Dynasty league and just wondering if anyone has heard anything about his future.

I would say it's very likely that Arredondo will be the closer if Rodriguez leaves.
I'm not so sure he'll leave though.

Really? Interesting. I know KRod has been frustrated with the Angles for not giving him a top dollar contract earlier and I figured he would hold a grudge and take his services else where. With the Mets having bullpen problems they might spend the money, Detroit could have a need and the Giants, Cubs and Seattle all have issues.

You're probably right. He's also said that he wouldn't rule out resigning with the club.
Maybe I should reword my phrase to don't rule out Rodriguez staying in Anaheim.

If Anaheim ponies up for Teixeira, there's got to be a huge likelihood that Frankie skips town for big dollars.

I feel pretty safe saying that if K-Rod is traded, Arredondo would be the guy and would be pretty successful.

I think LAA will resign Krod. Only a few teams can offer the big $ right now for a closer: NYY, BOS, NYM, LAA, LAD, CHC. Most of them do not have a need except for maybe the Mets.

I hope Frankie skips town for the big money, the money would be better spent on Teix. Arredondo is very good and has the potential to develop into one of the better closers in the league. The Halos are great with developing pitchers, power hitting is where they struggle. Spend the money on the bat.
