Ty Wigginton not in lineup

Why is Ty Wigginton not in lineup on Tuesday? I see he's been dropped in a bunch of Yahoo leagues. Is there something wrong with him?

I saw the same thing. There's definitely something uip, but I can't find it anywhere. This really sucks since I had him as a replacement for Kinsler and am in a weekly league.

CBS says its just because hes been very cold as of late, he's only batting .160 in his last 6 games

Astros manager Cecil Cooper indicated that Ty Wigginton would likely miss at least 7-10 days with a groin strain suffered Saturday.

A tough break for Ty, who had been one of the NL's hottest hitters over the last five weeks. The Astros will go with Darin Erstad in left and Michael Bourn in center for now. Geoff Blum will keep playing third. Sep. 7 - 12:54 am et

any inside info here on whether hes worth keeping on a playoff roster? all ive heard is maybe he could Pinch Hit starting Sunday...

but if hes not due to be full time soon, i think i might cut bait. his position flex would be great during final 2 week stretch (our championship), but im in a close matchup in semis, with Adam Jones on the DL due for a doubleheader Saturday.....so if Tys not gonna help for a good while, id like to drop him to get Jones in for the double dip.
