Yankees Tickets

Question for the NYC folks here: Visiting NYC this weekend and hoping to catch a game on Friday or Saturday (29th or 30th), what's the best way to get tickets outside of stubhub?

You can buy tickets at the box office if you don't mind upper deck or bleachers. Or go through Ticket Master or what not and pick them up at the box office rather than having them mailed to you. Edit: NM, doesn't look like Ticket Master has any available.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Aug. 29 & 30 they're playing the Blue Jays so it shouldn't be too high in demand. But since it's the last season, you never know.

Have you tried eBay?

Don't sit in the bleachers if you want to actually watch the game.

With just some odd teen number of games left to be played at Yankee Stadium, every game is going to be more full than usual. Still, you should be able to get some tickets at the box office, even for a weekend series, if you get there early.

As a New Yorker, however, I will echo the thought that you ought to stab a scalper (there will be droves of them) and take their tickets.

If they're all sold out online at ticketmaster.com, will they still have some available at the box office?
