okay, who is this guy? and what's his track record like? i picked him up in a deep league where i need some steals. is he a good bet to get consistent playing time? he strikes out a lot it seems but he does get hits and shows flashes of power and speed. fluke?

he isn't in the reds top 20 prospects but he was raking at AAA at the age of 26...you're right about the Ks as he had 131 in 354 ABs last yr at AAA..he does have a good SB % and that's why i picked him up but expect an average no higher than .250

I had never heard of this guy either until I saw him crush a HR in Colorado. I was in Denver for the DNC and one of my buddies had an extra Tix and asked me if I wanted to go to the game. He's a big guy with lots of power. I tried looking him up on the prospect websites , but didn't find much. He's at that age where he has to produce or call it a career.

this guy has been solid as of late. reminds me of what mclouth did at the end of last season with power/speed combo. this guy even starts against lefties!

You got to like the speed/power combo. you can't go wrong taking a flyer on that.

never mind, the boxscore was incorrect--he does have a sore ankle but PH late in the game
