So when I finally came to grips that my season is all but over in my dynasty, I made the following trades. How do they look and hows my team looking for next year:

Those are some pretty wicked trades for a keeper league. Good luck next year... I don't think you will need luck though because it looks pretty sick.

So when I finally came to grips that my season is all but over in my dynasty, I made the following trades. How do they look and hows my team looking for next year: Sometimes that's the hardest thing to do, realize your done for the current season. Props!

- Traded Matt Holliday for Jake Peavy Took a lot, but you got your fantasy ace
- Traded Jermaine Dye/Stephen Drew/Gio Gonzalez for Geovany Soto/Clayton Kershaw love the upgrade at C and the potential of Kershaw over Gio.
- Traded Matt Cain for Justin Upton Cain would have complimented Peavy nicely, and not sure you needed Upton
- Traded Adam Dunn/Paul Maholm for Carlos Lee Depending on the league, this could be huge. If you count Ks, then great move. Part of it depends on where Dunn ends up next year. But I like the trade over all
- Traded Ubaldo Jimenez for James Loney With Fielder at 1B, Cabrera soon to be only 1B, not sure this was the best move to make, but a great deal. Loney has more trade value then Jimenez
- Traded Ervin Santana/Angel Villalona for David Ortiz Ervin has had a great year...VERY different then last year. Could be a great sell high. Or did he finally find his groove?
- Traded Kevin Youkilis for Brandon Phillips Loney and Fielder...plus you needed the 2B. Great move.

2) ss Mike Moustakas might be good trade bait with a young Reyes slotted at SS
3) 3b Pedro Alvarez Cabrera moving to 1B, could free up a spot, just not sure he'll be ready that quickly

What's your league style..I know H2H, but what categories...5x5? That might change a few things.
Why are you still in this league? You seem to be better suited in a more competitive league. Some of the deals you made, I'm not sure why the other owner thought they were getting the better end of the deal.

Thanks for the long response

I got in a hole real early in this league this year which was due to inactivity. I couldnt really get it going with PSATs, SATs, Finals, and a few varsity sports that I had to focus on before I could really shift my time to fantasy baseball this summer. Which lead me to miss out on some quality FA keepers (Ludwick, McLouth etc), and had my rosters set the same for about 7-8 weeks. I got in to deep with loses and by the time I was able to really get it going I was something like 2-7

It's a h2h league, with the following scoring:

This league as you can tell is pretty pitcher heavy and weighted.

I wanted to try and make the best trades that I could to get the best possible amount of keepers I could get. I realize the log jam that I could have now at 1b with Fielder, MCab, and Loney but I'm gonna work that out when it becomes a problem. Loney has great trade value so when this becomes a problem I'll likely trade him for a pitcher. I also have the prospect of losing Stewart's MI eligilibility which kinda sucks, so hopefully he logs more games at 2b (hopefully?). I have another trade in the works where I could very likely be getting Alfonso Soriano for Granderson and Pedro Alvarez. That allows me to slot in Sori and Ortiz as my Utils, then slot in Hart to my CF (as long as he keeps that eligilibility) and move Upton to RF. So Ive got some decisions to make but hey thats most of the fun isnt it?
