Thoughts on my 10 keepers

12 team H2H points league, keepers are based on contracts (with no $ value assigned), we are going into our third year, and Joba will actually be my only new contract going into next year.

4 years: Joba
3: Pujols, Mig.Cabrera, Martin
2: Phillips, Bedard, F.Rod
1: Liriano, Nathan, C.Young

I also have Kershaw that I'm waiting to see how he pans out, so far so good. I might end up trading C.Young for a draft pick and give Kershaw a 3 year deal. Or should I give him a 4 year deal and Joba a 3 year?

I also might be trading Martin for Sizemore, because I'm not to fond of keeping catchers because typically I can find one well enough to draft. Drafted Soto this year. Next year Mauer will be back in the draft. Sizemore would also have a 3 year contract.

Which is pitching heavy. Thanks Pogo! Anybody else, or anybody have thoughts on giving Joba and Kershaw a contract?

Thanks for the help with mine.

I would give Kershaw the longer contract just because of his potential and give Joba the shorter one, especially now that the Yankees say they'll start him in the bullpen next year. I think I would also do that trade you mentioned for Sizemore because of the all around stats he'll bring to you.

I think that if you can try and get Kershaw into a 4 year contract do it, I like him more than Joba. Also, Sizemore for Russel is very nice (if you can get it)
