Yup, he should see time in Sept. I wish they would just boot Gload to the curb and call him up now. :-[

he is not on their 40 man roster...i suppose they could move a DL guy to the 60 day list to create room but......

I thought I heard Moore talking about Kaaihue on the radio the other day and this came up.....I may have misremembered though.

Wieters is currently catching for Double-A Bowie and has posted a line of .352/.449/.603. He also has 10 home runs and 46 RBI in just 179 at-bats. The 22-year-old should be given a legitimate shot at making the Orioles during spring training next year.

Has there been any talk if the Rays are going to bring up Price? I still have the #1 waiver and I dont want to get stuck with it if Price doesnt get called up.

Everything I've heard is that he'll get a call to the pen and get a chance in Spring Training as a starter.

Snider called up to Jays

FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal reports that the Phillies have acquired Matt Stairs from the Jays for a prospect.

The Phillies wanted Mark Kotsay, but came up short. They're settling for a more limited player here, but one who could be a nice fit in their ballpark. Stairs will get the occasional start in right field against righties. He'll be used as a pinch-hitter the rest of the time. The Blue Jays will call up Travis Snider to fill the open spot.

more callups via rotoworld coming soon:
Matt Antonelli- had a down year, but still one of the better 2b prospects
Mat Gamel- plays 3B (for now), and had a great year at AA... not sure about position, but he can hit...
Alcides Escobar- has the glove for SS, and this year has hit (unlike previous years)
Bobby Korecky- I know nothing about him
Jason Pridie- came to the twins in the Garza/Young deal... has a decent stick

How would you guys rank these guys (I'd have them in roughly the order I put them... except Gamel before Antonelli)... what if you include Snider and Bowden?
I would go Snider Bowden, Gamel... anyone else?
