I'm sure he'll move up the order come next season. Ozzie made this change a while back and it has worked well. No need to fix something that isn't broke.

BTW---how is his fielding? He`s eligible for OF, 2B and SS---which is his natural position?

He's a natural shortstop and was a pretty exceptional fielder for Cuba
They say that 2B is his third best position, behind (1) shortstop and (2) center field.

The buzz is that Cabrera won't come back to Chicago after this season, so Ramirez is likely to make the move over to short in '09.

Thank for the info. Thats good news for me---I got him cheap in a keeper league.
It does concern me that he gets caught stealing a lot. Is it a matter of speed, or technique?
