Anyone have an update on this joker for Monday? I am thinking of either cutting ties with him or Adam LaRoche and picking up Jed Lowerie. Thoughts? I am in no mood for this clown to either not play tomorrow in Texas or play 1 game and then take 3 off.......but I do wish I can start him this week because those 6 games at Texas and KC should be some slugfests for the Tiger bats.

you're not alone... i cut ties with him last week just because i couldn't stand him taking every other day off.. when he plays he gave me fine production but it was too frustrating.

Not in the lineup today. Thinking of dropping him cause I can't deal with this crap anymore. The worst part is that I am in a weekly league and he seems to always go down in the beginning of the week after the lineup is set for the week.

i'm going to see if he comes back by the end of the week, if he doesn't he's gone! Either him or Cantu have to go right now and i don't know who to cut ties with quite yet...

I wouldn't cut ties quite yet....

Yes he's frustrating, but yes it is almost the fantasy playoffs. Sit him on the bench, but dont cut ties until you absolutely have to.

He still has the potential to win you the playoffs.

news is he had an mri and it showed "inflamation"... so he should be back in a couple of days, not heading to the dl etc...

Bench him for now and hope he has some relevance for you in the playoffs. I'm matched up against the hottest team in the league for the first round of playoffs and need all the help I can get. Really hoping he can come back and swing a solid bat some time next week
