Just picked him up about 10 minutes ago...

Keeping my fingers crossed.
From Yahoo!
Kinsler (sports hernia) is targeting September 5 for his return to the lineup, the Dallas Morning News reports

It's been pretty quiet on the Kinsler front lately.

if he does come back I can't imagine he'll do much stealing any more this season.
When you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants in your room...is for fun.

They say he will abandon his comeback if he can't swing a bat by the weekend... I'd be interested to see how that goes so I can drop him once and for all if he can't.

Ugh... is he gonna come back or what!!??
I would love to be able to move him from my DL spot and make room for someone else who will actually play soon...

doesnt sound very good
Wed, Sep 3 2B Ian Kinsler is unsure if he will be able to play again this season. Kinsler is trying to come back from an abdominal strain that may be a sports hernia without having surgery. He ran, took batting practice and took ground balls and said he felt some improvement, but was still too sore to play. He is going to meet with doctors on Wednesday to determine whether he should continue trying to come back or whether he should potentially have surgery.

ESPN Fantasy wrote:Manager Ron Washington indicated that Kinsler (sports hernia) would have to be ready to play by mid-September if he wants to return this season, the team's web site reports.
Spin: "Say we get to the middle of September, and [Kinsler and David Murphy] aren't ready to go," said Washington. "What's the good in trying to make them play? We're not going to rush it. The interest goes to their health." Kinsler will continue to press forward in his rehab this weekend, but he could be shut down for the season early next week if things don't progress.
Be excellent to each other.
