I lost my boy Kinsler too but fortunately, even in a very competitive roto league, I have a 20 point cushion thanks to guys like Kinsler going nuts this year. Ludwick, McCann, and the guys I traded early like Volquez, Fukudome, McClouth are the others I have to thank for that big cushion. Most of all I have my mad fantasy skills to thank though. Sorry you couldn't finish out the ride Kinsler. I'll be fine without you.
Aug. 19 - 7:21 pm et Ian Kinsler (sports hernia) will wait two weeks before undergoing surgery in hopes that he can return this season.
After meeting with a specialist, Kinsler was told he has the mildest form of a sports hernia - just inflammation of the abdominal wall, not a strain or tear. Even if he avoids the knife, he'd probably only return for the last week or two of the season.

I wish he was still available in my league.
Guess I'm going to go with Kent as a replacement. His numbers are up since Manny started batting behind him. I'll miss the SB's, but Kinsler hasn't been stealing too much of recent, only 3 in the last 6 fantasy weeks, 7 if you include this one.

Not sure how much he will be able to contribute (if anything) when he does come back, though.
I have a gut feeling that if they are still semi-close in the wild card, that they will bring him back as early as possible and he will further injure himself and/or be completely ineffective...

Alexi Casilla is a guy who is coming back off the DL in a day or two. People may have dropped him so he's worth a look. Hitting in the 2-hole he's someone that may be able to give you some decent Runs numbers, average, and a few steals.
