Does anybody know why he was replaced in the 8th inning Sunday night?

Ian Kinsler has a hurt left groin. He'll be evaluated Monday. Hopefully he feels better tomorrow.

From Rotoworld:
Aug. 18 - 6:26 pm et
Ian Kinsler (groin) underwent an MRI on Monday.
The results are unknown, but groin injuries tend to linger as it is.

Ian Kinsler had an MRI on his sore groin at 3 p.m. today. The Rangers still don't know the results. Kinsler woke up Tuesday morning and was still sore, so the exam was scheduled. Manager Ron Washington hopes he'll miss just a couple of days. Ramon Vazquez will start at second tonight and Brandon Boggs will handle the leadoff duties. The Rangers may be taking some precautions too, as Joaquin Arias has just been given a locker. That doesn't mean anything though. The Rangers gave Michael Ballard a locker earlier this year and he was never called up.
http://startelegramsports.typepad.com/foul_territory/Edit:***Update*** Kinsler to DL?According to Evan Grant from the clubhouse, it appears Ian Kinsler is going on the disabled list and Joaquin Arias will take his place on the roster. There is no official word. We're waiting on that.
Kinsler pulled his groin in the first inning of yesterday's game and later came out after he grabbed on him running to first base. More to come later.

Rangers believe Kinsler has sports hernia;out for season?
Not much else needs to be said, does it?
He'll see a hernia surgery specialist, perhaps as early as Tuesday, to determine if there is a way to avoid surgery. But Kinsler just said mentally, he's preparing for it. If he has surgery, his season is done.
