Yankee fans- need help.

I'm putting together for another site a series of articles on the All-time great teams for most of the historic franchises. Currently working on the Yankee article, and whilst seven of the nine positions are fairly easy, and Mantle over DiMaggio in CF isn't nearly as hard as their respective reputations suggests, I'm having real trouble finding anyone that would qualify as an all-time great Yankee leftfielder. All the great Yankee OFers seem to have played either centre or right.

Ideas?

Rob Neyer has a book out that did the exact same thing. He chose Charlie Keller.

I think it has to be Keller, although Meusel is a good runner up. I do want to commend you for not taking the easy way out and just picking 3 OFers though.
