Looking at the standings today I thought it was pretty interesting that only four teams have winning road records and only the Angels are well above .500 away from home. What's up with that?

Whats even more intresting is how everyone says the Rays are young and cant win on the road which will hurt them in the second half, but they have the same road record as the Cubs who almost everyone is picking as making it to the WS

Usually you see at least 8-10 teams with winning road records and at least 3 or 4 of those teams are well above .500 on the road.

The first half of the season was abosolutley ridiculous when it came to home teams beating road teams. This could be the reslt of April + May being aboslutely crazy, and the other two months of the year just being normal with regards to home/road records...
