HELP!! I gotta pick in 10 mins!

I'm in a points league with 7 other owners. My team now is Pujols, Manny and Haladay. Points are: run:1, 1B:1, 2B:2, 3B:3, HR:4, RBI:2, SB:2, CS: -1, BB:1, K: -1 and for pitchers, W:10, L: -5, S:10, K:1, BB:-1, ER:-1, IP:2.

I don't know whether to go balanced or go offensive. I have 2 power hitters in Pujols and Manny (HR is 4 pts) and I have one solid ace in Halladay. It's the end of the 4th-start of the 5th (I have 2 picks in a row) and this is a non-keeper league

I could get Wagner and a hitter, another SP and a hitter or 2 hitters. What do u think? Thanks.

pick up a closer (i'm not a fan of wagner though) and definately not mariano or foulke who will get minimal oppurtunities, if wagner is the only other elite closer get him, i don't know who is left but i'd try to take a good stolen base guy because in your league 40 steals=20 homers or 40 rbi.

I took Wagner, I need either a good hitter or pitcher. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

power hitters seem to worth the most because of 4 points for Hrs and 1 point for run and 2 for rbi, so i would not waste my picks on guys without power.

I really don't buy that "minimal opportunities" line of thought. How many games do you think they're going to blow opponents out by more than 3 runs? Sure they have great offenses, but other teams aren't going to look at their paper lineup and forfeit the game.

That's the first time I've seen someone recommend against 3 of the top 5 closers in baseball.

I wound up drafting a consistent hitter in Garret Anderson. He hits just below .320 with 29 HR and 119 RBI. He also strikes out under 100 times a season, which is a huge plus. I feel his is a great alternative to Vernon Wells, who got taken right before my pick.
