If Iannetta is available in your league now would be a good time to pick him up. Torrealba has a small tear in his meniscus and Iannetta will taking over the majority of catching duties. Oh and he is also batting cleanup.

While I agree Iannetta is a solid pick-up, he was only batting clean-up because Atkins was sick.

Atkins will likely bat clean-up against lefties, while Hawpe will likely bat clean-up against righties. Iannetta will likely bat somewhere in the 5th to 7th spot.

Good point. He also ranks 3rd amoung catchers with 14HR despite playing part time. I can't wait to see what he does next year.

Yup, Iannetta is really moving himself into keeper consideration in my deepest (18 tm) league. Someone around here was just a year early on their high hopes :-b

I think it was the time to pick him up a while back... ;-D He's had the majority of the playing time for a while, and it was much deserved. It'll be great to see what he can do with a full season of starting duties next year.
