sorry should've been more specific. $260 budget, 27 players. id obviously adjust his standard value to the $ and players in my league, but i was more interested in the general market value in a standard league. i.e. if he's a consensus $20 player next year, then keeping him for $10 is a steal

Yup, keeping him for $10, without seeing who else could be kept and the number you can keep, would be a good thing.

Yup, keeping him for $10, without seeing who else could be kept and the number you can keep, would be a good thing.

you can keep up to 5 players, with a $5 penalty for each. almost of all the studs will not be kept in this format unless they broke out this year or were coming off injury and went for cheap (lackey, pujols, kazmir, harden, etc). it's pretty hard to find very good keepers with these settings, as a guy really has to be drafted at $8-$10 below his 09 value in order to be a viable keeper. I currently have 3 no-brainer keepers (2 SP, 1 OF) and am looking to add a 4th. wondering if ells at $10 is a huge value for 09.

You are in exactly the same situation as a guy in my league (which happens to be the exact same format as yours)...

Your 3 keepers don't happen to be Cliff Lee, Garza, and Braun, do they?
