Ellsbury - PT question

Postby kab21 » Thu Aug 14, 2008 12:35 am

Is there a pattern to which days Ellsbury is playing? I have a couple of decent bench players and would like to play them if Ellsbury isn't in there.

Is it Crisp and Ellsbury splitting time based on lefty/righty? Or is it random?

Tonight Texas had a righty throwing (IIRC) and Ellsbury wasn't out there for example.

He got hit and now needs the rest (as said above), look for him to come in late in the game for the next few days.

I'm not as concerned about the next few days. I don't see a scenario where he'll be playing full-time with Drew, Bay, and Crisp also in the Sox OF. Will there be a pattern to his PT? Will it be 50% or 75%.

Rest of the way, Ellsbury will get more PT than Crisp. Best guess is 75%
