Yahoo 12 team league I am top in 4 out of 5 pitching cats and should sweep all by seasons end with Wins the only one I'm behind in but I've got innings up my sleeve on the leader.

I've been lucky enough to sweep hitting categories several times in previous years.

In a Head 2 Head league I won last year I checked the totals at the end of the year and I was 1st in HR/AVG/RBI/OPS/R and 3rd in SB

However the 6 playoffs teams were crushing the 6 non playoff teams, the split was huge, so I dunno where the competitiveness would rank really.

I swept the hitting in my keeper league in 2006. My lineup was:

Garrett Atkins (Col - 3B) 198/602 117 29 120 4 .329
Michael Barrett (SD - C) 115/375 54 16 53 0 .307
Brian McCann (Atl - C) 147/442 61 24 93 2 .333
Carlos Beltran (NYM - OF) 140/510 127 41 116 18 .275
Miguel Cabrera (Det - 3B,OF) 195/576 112 26 114 9 .339
Carlos Guillen (Det - SS) 174/543 100 19 85 20 .320
Matt Holliday (Col - OF) 196/602 119 34 114 10 .326
Aubrey Huff (Bal - 1B,3B,OF) 121/454 57 21 66 0 .267
Hideki Matsui (NYY - OF) 52/172 32 8 29 1 .302
Albert Pujols (StL - 1B) 177/535 119 49 137 7 .331
Dave Roberts (SF - OF) 146/499 80 2 44 49 .293
Alfonso Soriano (ChC - 2B,OF) 179/647 119 46 95 41 .277

It was a great/lucky time of synergy in drafting, keepers, and trades where it all just worked out right. My pitching wasn't great, but I won the league. Soriano, Pujols, and Beltran were keepers so I had a huge head start, but I happened to draft lots of huge sleepers (McCann/Barrett, Holliday, Guillen, and Atkins)

Standings (Top 3):
R HR RBI SB AVG
1. Me 1151 313 1109 170 .303
2. #2 977 247 960 134 .285
3. #3 1048 281 1040 147 .294

The #3 team was 2nd or 3rd in all the hitting categories.

IN my 12-teamer, I have R and SB all but clinched, and I have a decent lead in average. I have a shot at HR, but RBI, I could end up with 11, but 12 is just about impossible. ( I have saves wrapped, too, so I might win 5 cats.)
Be excellent to each other.

I don't play Roto much anymore, but this year I'm in one and my offense has

12 points in Runs
12 in HR
12 in RBI
11 in AVG
And...wait for it...wait for it. 4 in SB.

As a whole my team is in 3rd, due largely to having Aaron Harang, Fausto Carmona, and Dustin McGowan anchoring my staff at the beginning of the year.
