Anyone have any thoughts on what his situation will be when V-Mart comes back? I saw an article a few weeks back saying they will likely split time the rest of the season, but haven't heard much else. Also, it is a dynasty league, so I was wondering about his long term potential - at least the next few years. It is a very deep league by the way.

In 522 career major league ABs he has 74r, 22hr, 81rbi, with a .253 avg, and a .313 obp.

In 1602 career minor league ABs he has 232r, 74hr, 274rbi, with a .260avg, and a .349 obp.

Obviously, he has been really hot lately with a 1.090 OPS since the All-Star break.

Any Thoughts?

We've always known the kid could hit, he just never had a shot at playing time behind Victor Martinez. This may be the perfect time for the Indians to implement the plan they had a few years back with Victor manning 1st base and platooning behind the plate every so often.
In turn letting the better defensive catcher in Shoppach stay behind the plate/
