...anybody doing anything in particular to prepare their team for the playoffs? ...is there anything that _can_ be done at this point, assuming your trading deadline is past?

I have a different approach. I called each of them up when they're doing bad, and tell them if they don't smarten their acts up, they're going to end up on the bench, or worse dropped! I really lay into each of them. I don't put up with bullcrap. If you slump your dumped. Thats that. No exceptions! I had mixed results. Tejada is really starting to hit a bit better now. But maybe it wasn't the right approach with Nolasco. And Harang, he didn't handle it well at all. I had to dump him.
