His injury past is pretty extensive, which is what limited him in 06 and 07. There was also the Ronnie Paulino fiasco of 07 where the Pirates mistook him for a good player, limiting Doumit's time even once he came back from injury...

I don't know. I never thought that Doumit and McCann were comparable especially after the ridiculous 06 that McCann put together. He was unreal.
