I'd go with Gio, but keep on eye on Hughes because he'll most likely be in the rotation as of next sunday.

The issue with Petit is that he is still giving up too many HR. I think that Scherzer will bounce him off the rotation soon.

Hughes - They also found an eyesight problem IIRC when he got injured, he might pull a Rick 'Wild Thing' Vaughn on his return
Gio - I'm really not sold on him being a good pitcher this season - still talented though
