That Utley has been better this year doesn't change the fact that Miggy > Utley. Miggy was better in 07 and this year was an adjustment period to the AL. I'd like to see Utley put up his numbers in a more neutral park.

Interestingly, Utley hits 30 points higher on the road - and has 11 of his 28 HR on the road - so it isn't like his numbers are terribly inflated by the park - at least not as much as I would have expected.
The Cow wrote:So despite Utley having the better numbers once again, at least 2 years running if you are keeping track at home, Miggy was somehow still the better fantasy pick this year? Wow! The length you guys go to, to attempt to prove your point. I will say this eventually, eventually you will be right. Miggy is bound to have a better year than Utley eventually. I think.

What is your problem? Why did you start a thread taunting people that supported Cabrera and then try to rile everyone up by being a sarcastic jackass? This thread adds nothing to anyones baseball knowledge and was only created so you could start something.....well done.
hehehe you must not be familiar with the cow yet.
hes bumped two threads now, specifically just to brag about things he has said. although i bet if i were go back to his march's posts, you'd see a few things that would make you scratch your head. now dont get me wrong, its awesome to be right on a guy (cafe sleeper nate mcclouth pre-season right here) but to try to rub it in people's faces is certainly wrong.
Lol, I am familiar with the Cow. Seen his face for 5 years now and I usually just ignore, but this was just such a worthless brag thread where he wasn't even right that I felt like I had to say something.....
I hate the "i told you so" threads and posts that have been popping up at the cafe recently.

The only reason Miggy was better in '07 was because Utley got hit and broke his hand/wrist. Normalize their at-bats (not even considering that Utley came back and wasn't the same, so he had three weeks or so of at-bats at a lesser rate) and Utley has a better line than Miggy for '07.
I'm still an Utley>Miggy believer, though they are very close, but I agree with the others that I don't see any reason for an "I told you so" thread to be posted on the cafe.
