haha jonny, i'm in the EXACT same situation... should i stick w/ hairy and hope he's ok??... or is this injury gonna affect his performance, making him not worth it in 04?? i doubt he'll be stealing w/ all these injuries.

If you got Hairston and Roberts is a FA, pick him up to be safe. Hairston is most likely going to miss the next 4-6 weeks.

If you want a waiver wire 2B, you might go with LA's Cabrera. I watched him play this Wednesday's spring training game against the Mets, and he spanked two homers, and made it look easy.

I watched the game too, the game was pretty windy, suprised that more people didn't hit homeruns.

Light hitting 2B with little to no speed in the worst hitters park in baseball? No thanks.
Take a flier on Willie Harris or another 2B like Loretta, Relaford, Jimenez if it's a shallow league and they're still available.
