i was thinking chacon too... him or graves... the only problem is graves is a more proven closer... while chacon has the more overpowering stuff... unfortunately for him... he has to pitch at COORS!!! does this scare anybody??

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Chacon for sure, then graves if you still need a closer. Hinske worries me (not because of the weight loss). I think Chacon is solid, and the best of that bunch.

I don't understand why some people get down on graves. Personally I'd take Chacon (and I did, in fact off the free agent wire!! Whoo-hoo!) but Graves is a CLOSE second. I'm not real worried about pitching at Coors, Chacon did very well last year at Coors, and he's not a flyball pitcher (if memory serves--I could be wrong).

And Lo Duca is pretty over-rated, but not bad. Victor Martinez will have a good year, methinks.
