i was thinking chacon too... him or graves... the only problem is graves is a more proven closer... while chacon has the more overpowering stuff... unfortunately for him... he has to pitch at COORS!!! does this scare anybody??

Chacon for sure, then graves if you still need a closer. Hinske worries me (not because of the weight loss). I think Chacon is solid, and the best of that bunch.

lo duca is also available and mauer isnt exactly someone that should be relied on as a starting C this year... so what do u guys think??

I don't understand why some people get down on graves. Personally I'd take Chacon (and I did, in fact off the free agent wire!! Whoo-hoo!) but Graves is a CLOSE second. I'm not real worried about pitching at Coors, Chacon did very well last year at Coors, and he's not a flyball pitcher (if memory serves--I could be wrong).
And Lo Duca is pretty over-rated, but not bad. Victor Martinez will have a good year, methinks.
