What in the world is going on with Dan Haren? This is getting a little alarming does he have some kind of injury we don't know about? He had 11 straight QS now gets bombed by the Pirates and Braves . Is he already going to fall off with his fat contract signed is this what we have to expect from him from now on?

Suck is pretty harsh. He does tend to decline, usually by giving up more hits and HRs.

It's two starts! Everyone, even the best players go through stretches of mediocrity/suck. Look at his overall performance this season.

08 HR/FB - 8.2%

A drop in Home Runs per fly ball by over 3% even though he moved from a pitchers park to a hitters park? Luck, luck, luck... expect this to correct itself by the end of the year or at least get up above 9%. It will help that most of his current scheduled starts remaining are bottom 10 offenses. His two matchups against Colorado might not be the prettiest, however.
