Synchronized swimming isn't a sport. It's basically an artistic performance. Why do they award medals for this?

The Canadian favourite in taekwondo also lost in the gold medal match yesterday, and the Canadian gold medal threat in mountain biking didn't finish. It's results like these (along with Van Koeverden) that makes you appreciate just how good guys like Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt are.

My friend thinks that Usain Bolt is juicing. :-D

It turns out that the Greco-Roman wrestler who was stripped of his bronze medal for dropping it in disgust on the mat had reason for being angry, according to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

I would have been pissed, too. It sucks that the IOC stripped his medal for "violating the spirit of fair play." :-[

I can definitely understand him being angry. However, being angry and acting out the way he did are worlds apart for most sane people. I know they say "Roid Rage" is a myth but if there's an iota of truth to it, he's the poster boy.
