What do you think of Rollins for the rest of the year?

i think that he's going to be mediocre just like he has been all year. anyone who drafted him in the 1st or 2nd round had to be ready for the dropoff. there was just no way he was going to produce those numbers again.

43 runs this month in 14 games :-t

Pedro Feliz on the DL is killing them.

Burrell hitting .224 since the break.

This sums it up right here:
Moyer has allowed three runs or less in 14 consecutive starts, but has only five wins in that span.

He has been amazing ;-D he gets no credit and is an amazing pitcher
The Phillies, who led the NL in runs the past two seasons, have scored three runs or fewer in 40.9 percent of their games. They are 10-42 in those games.

Rollins sucking is reason #1. Howard's sucking BA wise and K wise hurts, but he's still put up monster numbers when he does get hits. Just imagine if Howard struck out less and was hittting .260-.275. Could mean a good amount of runs for their offense.

But Rollins is the main culprit. Without him setting the table and creating havoc on the bases, the whole lineup suffers.

as bad as rollins has been, its not just him. utley is also another culprit, when he goes into these huge stretches without productivity. same applies to howard and burrell, and victorino in the beginning of the season. not to mention jenkins has stunk, as have both catchers for the most part. in general the lineup from 6-8 has been bad, and for long stretches everywhere from 1-5 have been too. its just frustrating to watch, BUT, big BUT, you've seen what each of these guys have been able to do when they're clicking. each individual im talking about. think about how scary it would be to have utley hitting .330 for a month or so with his usual power, one of howard's 12 month hr's, one of burrell's 1.200 OPS months, victorino hitting .300 with some pop and speed, and jimmy pretending to be an mvp again. we've seen them all do this, just never at once.

They are just such an ordinary offense at the moment, 1 through 8.
