There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Kent, those are last year's stats! The projections, I'm assuming, are the ones in bold. And whoever is telling me these projections aren't so bad, and they are attainable, C'MON!!!!! John Smoltz for 60 saves????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? You DO know that would break the single-season saves record, right?? Seriously, if you compare each projection to last year's stats, EVERYONE is expected to have career years or close to it, like someone else said. I was literally laughing out loud at these. And just coz Pujols has like a 5% chance at hitting .375, doesnt make it a good projection!! Sure, it might be "in the realm of possibility", but that doesn't make the projection good if it only has a 5% or so chance of happening. And Furcal scoring 140 runs is insane. He scored 130 last year which was amazing, and now they lost Sheffield. Riiiight, so he's gonna score 10 more runs than last year, and he isn't even a power hitter so he can't drive himself in. Alright, i've said enough.

Hmmm...while unlikely, I think Smoltz could get 60 if he's healthy. And I think Furcal will have more stolen bases...a lot more.

HAHA I think the funniest thing is that Burroughs, Hillenbrand, Bill Mueller and Casey Blake are all ranked ahead of Ensberg. He also only projects 20 HRs for Ensberg. I'm not a huge Ensberg fan, I don't think he will do really well but come on!!!! I'd take him over those 4 any day!
Beltre, Castilla, and Crede all behind Tony Batista? I think not.
I also think Blalock will hit more than 25 HRs, but the .320 AVG projection just shows that he doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. Blalock is a badass against righties but he has a hard time against the lefties. Last year he didnt see too many lefties, this year he will be starting every game.

Man this guy must think balls are gonna be flying out like CRAZY, he has projected like 20-30 guys with 40+ homers.

Corey patterson above Huff, Edmonds, Lee?

Hampton, Harden, and Woddy Williams above Randy Wolf?

Man does this guy even watch baseball? lol

Terrible. Nearly every guy is projected with at least 75 rbis. With these projections, a 900 run team would be average.
