I'm trying to put a banner I made for my logo/signature but it says the file is too big. The file itself is 10,000 bytes. Where do I need to uplod my image for it to work right, or i that even the problem. The size is 300 by 150. I uploaded the image to flickr but the link for that doesn't work. Please help me out.
how do I get it to be bigger, not the thumbnail, when I try to resize it it's too big, which link should I use off of imageshack and should I resize it? Would like to have it bigger so people can see the images better

you copied the wrong link....when you upload it, use the link that's all the way down at the bottom. it should be a straight forward link to the .jpg itself.
ok, I'm pretty sure that the photoshop file I made was too big, over 100 pixels high so I just stretched it out until I get off of "work" and make a better version that is 468 x 100. Thanks for the help.

oh no. you never want to do that. instead of stretching it, just make it smaller. if you made it 400x150, make it 300x100 or whatever. dont just stretch it. it makes it look pretty poor, as you can probably tell.
yea, hopefully i can fix it later this evening, and also, the only copy I had of the file I put on flickr so I think that made the resolution pretty bad since the file I saved off of it looks bad before I stretched it out. Version 2.0 will look better

just a warning. i doubt you'll get your sig to look all that great here at the cafe with all those players. all those different players and layers take up a huge amount of space. when you have to downsize it to be under 12 kb, the quality is going to take a huge hit.
