Fallout 3

I just read about this game and if you enjoyed Oblivion then you should definitely pick this up. Looks like the same type of sandbox, RPG-FPS game. What I like is that you can target specific parts of the enemy. Check out this screenshot. :-L

I hadn't even heard of the fallout franchise until now but this game looks awesome. I loved Oblivion so I'll likely pick this up, too. ;-D

The thing I liked about Oblivion was all of the quests you could do. It made it feel like you weren't playing a linear game where you had to do something to advance to the next step. This game looks more like Half Life than Oblivion.

No it is supposed to have a nonlinear storyline just like Oblivion.

This game is pretty sweet- I like Oblivion more, but I can see myself really getting into this one. I'm really glad that they have the fast travel system like Oblivion.

POSSIBLE VERY EARLY IN THE GAME SPOILERS:

I don't play FPS very often though and I'm getting killed a ton. Should it take 6 shots to the head to kill a vicious dog? Should I be staying in Megaton right now and wait to do the side quests? I'm not sure what I think about the targeting system, so far it doesn't seem that effective. I don't know who else has played this game but did you guys kill the overseer? I did thinking I was doing a good deed but I kind of regret it, and I'm wondering what it's going to mean later in the game.

Nobodies playing this yet? I'm doing better now, I didn't realize you could use the VAT system or whatever it's called to do multiple shots. It still is insane how much ammo you need to get a kill. Best game I've played since Bioshock though.
