Interesting... A lot of votes for Soto. He's been pretty mediocre since June 1 but I guess you have to account for the success of his team and also his position. Yeah, I'll change my vote to Soto for ROY over Jurjjens.

yea if the cards can sneak into the playoffs then Ludwick should win it. Right now though I'd vote for Soriano, he's got ridiculous numbers despite missing a ton of games. For AL Cy Young I could live with Lee or Saunders getting it

Ludwick isn't eligible, is he? A rookie is under 130 ABs. He had more than that before this year.

Ludwick has a real shot at NL MVP, not NL ROY. He is not a rookie.

He said MVP not ROY.
In any case, while Pujols was out from Jun 11 to Jun 25, Ludwick went: 13 G, 48 AB, 6 R, 1 HR, 6 RBI, 0.188 AVG
The Cards went 6-7 without Pujols. While Ludwick is having a fine season, unless people feel that he is making more of an impact than other candidates like Hanley, Pujols, Braun, Utley, etc, he likely won't win the MVP.

oops, crawls back into his hole to learn how to read...
But since I was focused on ROY, I still hope Bruce tears up the last few months to overtake Soto. But right now Soto gets my vote.
