this is a thread i think would be very interesting and could provide for some great conversation...Id love if everyone posted a bunch of songs they considered to be "Favorites", but i think this thread would be even better if you could clarify only 1 single song as your favorite(along with a list of others if you prefer).
I`ll start with this list of songs I consider my favorites:
Bohemiem Rhapsody-Queen Till i Collapse- Eminem A Tout Le Monde- Megadeth The Unforgiven- Metallica Love Bites- Def Leppard Metalingus- Alter Bridge I`ll be there for you- Bon Jovi
If you put a gun to my head and make me pick one, ill go with Love Bites by Def Leppard.
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Parts 1&2 - Pink Floyd You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd Back In Black - AC/DC Shaft - Isaac Hayes ( )

Argh, so many favorite songs that I have, but my #1 favorite currently is Death's cover of Judas Priest's Painkiller.

(The Horror of It All), Room for One More, Medusa Metallica - The Four Horsemen, Seek and Destroy Sepultura - Orgasmatron (Motorhead cover) Death - Infernal Death, Evil Dead, Symbolic, Painkiller Slayer - Hell Awaits, Dead Skin Mask, Jesus Saves, Seasons in the Abyss Venom - Die Hard, Black Metal, Welcome to Hell, Countess Bathory Bathory - A Fine Day to Die, The Golden Walls of Heaven, For All Those who Died Napalm Death - Incinerator, Scum, Suffer the Children Wrestling (yes, wrestling) - Grand Sword (Kenta Kobashi), Blazin' (Kenta Kobashi), Spartan X (Mitsuharu Misawa)

Certain conservative groups would paint you as a potential serial killer going by your list

Well, it's possible to think metal is the only music that matters and still be a sane, good citizen.
I do admit that I get a kick out of some people who'd make weird, disgusted faces when they find out I'm a metalhead. It's just funny that the perception of being a metalhead makes you some kind of Satanist automatically, which I find flattering actually. I just love the metal sound and that's really all. Either that or I'm just not a life-affirming person.
I listen to other kinds of music once in a blue moon, anything but rap, hip-hop, emo, indie rock, and country.
I have nothing against anyone who like heavy metal or even look at them differently i just never became a fan of it. I can listen to it, i just dont get hooked. The way i see music is whatever you like is whatever you like it doesnt make you a certain person heck i listen to some country now and a year ago i would cover my ears and cringe...i guess that happened from playing baseball on a team full guys from the country and farms
I agree with Artful Dodger 100%, i know my list of favs wasnt hardcore by any stretch of the imagination but I`m into many of the bands he listed and consider myself a huge metal fan..When I tell my friends what im listening to you would think i just told them that I have trashbags full of dead bodies in my closet
anyway, also wanted to point out that symphony of destruction by Megadeth( listed by Artful Dodger) is also one of my all time favorites...just slipped my mind at the time of my post.
