I was watching the game on MLB.tv online and he was grabbing his pitching shoulder after giving up a single to Marlon Byrd. The trainer went and got him. Big blow to the Yankees and my fantasy team if he is really injured! We'll know more either late tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

FROM ESPN.COM just now
News: Chamberlain left during the fifth inning of his start against the Rangers with an apparent right shoulder injury.
Spin: Uh oh. We're awaiting more information on Chamberlain's status at this time, but the Yankees can't afford to be without him for a prolonged period. Stay tuned.

I heard it was a mild shoulder strain. Shouldn't be too bad. The only problem would be if for some reason this was indicative of a more serious problem and then they put him on the DL!

Joe said post game that his next start is likely in jeopardy but he doesn't expect him to be shut down for an extended period of time.

Just read it on the Yanks blog.what makes me just as nervous is the Yanks not wanting to discuss the results of the MRI.
